Rainforest Aquafarms is amazonian native species farming company under artisan, natural, environmentally friendly and sustainable best aquaculture and processing practices, generating environmental, economic and social welfare in the company´s surrounding areas.

The farm is located in Campo Verde county, 22 milles away from the town of Pucallpa in Peru´s western Amazon, in the middle of a reforestation project.

The company´s highly trained staff and management team are well-known professionals with international experience and different backgrounds, bringing the required diverse sector experience that generates confidence to our customers and stakeholders.

The King of the Amazon

Paiche meat is white and firm, very similar in quality to Halibut and Chilean Sea Bass. Of subtle flavor, it can be steamed, baked, poached, grilled, sautéed, forming a nice crust when cooked. It works in an extraordinary way with different condiments and sauces, providing versatility in the preparation of various dishes.
